What is your yardstick for success?

In my work, success is measured by whether the professionals I serve--their customers--feel satisfied they are getting the services they need. In other words, have I helped the professional "minister" the prescribed service successfully to the one in need of it?

What are your long-term professional goals?

As a member of its executive team with P&L responsibility, I'll have built a professional services division in a multi-national conglomerate. This group will leverage knowledge technology and processes to liaise on a massive scale from outside professional (e.g. accounting, banking, finance) to in-house counsel and executives down to the lines of business who are in need of those professional services. This professional services division will facilitate interaction among practice leads, department managers, project managers, and technologists, usually as team subject matter experts wearing the “product manager” hat, assuring all professional service deliverables are efficiently requisitioned and cost-effectively delivered.
