A great boss knows and understands where a designer has come from and knows how to set that designer up for success. They should know when to encourage and when put on the pressure.

What is your yardstick for success?

A thank you. I like what I do, and I hope it shows in my work. Oftentimes, at my last job, several co-workers would tell me that the company would tank if I ever left. That shows me that I make a difference in their every-day lives. I strive to always do a great job.

What are your long-term professional goals?

My long term goal includes being manager at a growing company. I enjoy being part of a team environment, being both a teammate and a mentor. I believe a successful team involves giving and taking while working in a comfortable atmosphere.
