What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

Tennis, art, animals(dogs), sports (NFL, college football-basketball, NASCAR), reading, kayaking, traveling, driving.

What make's a great boss?

An individual who recognizes the strengths and weakness of their employees using their strengths for the overall greater good while empowering the employees to improve on their weaknesses. An individual who won’t let ego get in the way of good decisions. An individual who accepts honest opinions as honest opinions.

What is your yardstick for success?

An individual who sets a goal and does everything in their power to meet the goal based on the terms that they set forth in the beginning. Accomplishing the goal is great, but is sometimes unobtainable due to unknown factors and if the individual has done all that they can honestly do they are experiencing some level of success.

What are your long-term professional goals?

I would like to join a company and contribute to their growth for the next twenty years or so while working on my PhD. When I’m in my mid-sixties, I would like to go to a smaller university and use my knowledge and experience to teach young people who are following in my footsteps.
