I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor and am involved with the Cause Marketing Committee for the King's Daughters Child Development Center. I also serve on the Graduate Business Department Advisory Council for Argosy University and the Polar Plunge Committee for the Special Olympics. What make's a great boss?A great boss empowers those around her to achieve their personal and professional goals. She surrounds herself with people who are smarter and more determined because she knows that she will either rise or fall to the competence of those in her chain of command. What is your yardstick for success?My yardstick for professional success is measuring the growth of those around me who become more empowered to make decisions that better the organization, the community and the healthcare industry. My yardstick for personal success is the knowledge that I am consistently challenged with new intellectual opportunities and experiences, that I've carried myself with integrity and that those around me are successful and productive. What are your long-term professional goals?My long-term professional goal is to lead an industry-changing corporation that thrives on constant reinvention, both internal and in the market place.
