Quick InterviewWhat five words best describe you?I am enthusiastic, trustworthy and a team player. The enthusiasm I bring to the job makes working towards goals more enjoyable for me and my teammates. The high level of trust my co-workers have in me creates a real bond and helps us when we are sharing repsonsibilities or going through busy periods. And I think that because I am first and foremost a team player, I am more productive and happier on the job. Finally, I am dependable and detailed-oriented. All of these qualities have contributed to my success. What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?I have a number of things I enjoy doing outside of work. I am invloved in Junior League Nashville. I volunteer my time to serve on various committees throughout the year. I love planning and organizing special events; creating centerpieces; decorating the space; planning the menu; creating new recipes; etc. I donate time to various children's organization: Monroe Carell Children's Hospital, Queen For a Day Foundation, Girls on the Run, etc. My involvement in pageantry lead me to producing the Miss Southern Tennessee pageant, in which I am responsible for recruiting delegates and sponsors each year. Lastly, I enjoy planning outtings with my niece and nephew! What make's a great boss?What makes agreat boss is the ability to get the best from different individuals and growing together. A great boss needs to be a leader, a mentor, a visionary, a good communicator, be positive, show recognition, have focus, be trustworthy, be experienced, and be a friend. All of these qualities have been found in the General Managers I have most admired in business. What is your yardstick for success?Satisfaction, contentment, happiness and recognition are important to my success. Based on the goals and objectives I set for myself, as long as I have my sight set on these and I am doing my best to achieve them without steping on other's toes, I am going to be successful. What are your long-term professional goals?I aspire to a senior executive position in the hospitality industry with strong brand recognition. I plan to open myself up to feedback and development and do whatever it takes to earn a place at the top. I already have the skills, intelligence, work ethic, and initiative. The rest can be learned. |
