Quick InterviewWhat five words best describe you?Articulate Dedicated Engaging Intelligent Reliable What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?I spend as much time as I can with my family, 3 children are grown and one is still at home so any time I get with them is golden. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 dogs, and like to exercise and be outside as much as possible. I'm an avid reader of all kinds of literature, and recently took up stained glass. I volunteer with an organization that provides handicapped children with equestrian therapy, and am incredibly blessed by the kids and workers I've gotten to know. What make's a great boss?A great boss sets the direction for you and/or your team. They communicate clearly and support you. They facilitate a clear path forward. they mentor and guide you as a staunch advocate. They are invested in helping you becoming the very best version of yourself you can become, so that you can give the organization you work for the highest quality work product. What is your yardstick for success?Success is when the part of the plan that you were responsible for is complete. It is making a positive difference in someone's life, or even in their day. It is the admiration of those you work with, and the affection of those you love. It is knowing you did a good day's work, you made someone smile that day, and you are going to get up and do it all again tomorrow. What are your long-term professional goals?I believe that healthcare has not done a great job of telling their story, and measuring their success. I want to be part of harnessing technology to help tell our story, what amazing things we do, and how good we are at it. I want to play a key role in improving the care experience story using technology as a forum for revealing excellence in healthcare delivery, so that it is a tale of recovery, hope and living fully. |
