I am an eternal student of life and a confessed news junkie. I love learning and am an avid reader of a wide scope of interests such as technology, theologies /philosophy, biographies, ancient and modern cultures, fiction and thrillers. I enjoy history and the various sciences that explore it, i.e. archeology, architecture, art, sociology, engineering, and philosophy. Good food and wine are always a must, especially for gatherings with family and friends. Music rounds out my personal side and is dictated by my mood; classical, smooth jazz, blues, rock or country.

What make's a great boss?

A great boss is one who gives clear explanations and expectations of a particular project or job, including advice regarding boundaries or sensitive areas. Then, allows the employee the freedom to research, develop and implement, upon approval. Successful bosses are fair and honest with their employees; they supporting them and their projects to difficult clients, thus enhancing the integrity of the company and its human assets. Bosses that retain loyal employees are those that are intelligent and expect the same of their teams; asking for 110% during a crunch, then respecting their dedication with time off, bonuses, or other appropriate compensation.

What is your yardstick for success?

Respect for my knowledge and skills, by management and my peers, is top of my list as a yardstick for success. To be appreciated through promotions, compensation or acknowledgement in my professional sphere is a direct indicator of my value to the company, my co-workers and my peers.

What are your long-term professional goals?

Much like my yardstick for success, I want to find a firm for which my talents are respected and viewed as a tangible asset toward the success of the company. I want to have the opportunity to choose the type of clients or firms that I find interesting, progressive, and respectable.
