Quick Interview

What five words best describe you?

Driven, teammate, self-starter, determined, passionate

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I love to laugh more than anything else. Spending time with family and friends is one of my favorite pastimes. I also love trying new things and seeing things I've never experienced before. I also enjoying being involved in the community with various organizations.

What make's a great boss?

A great boss is one that keeps their employees engaged and motivated and also leads by example. Keeping an employee in the loop of the end result of a project they have participated in and bringing them into the fold with new projects helps keep them engaged. Motivation does not always need to come in forms of compensation; a simple thank you and letting higher ups aware of a job well done by your employee goes a long way in keeping them motivated. By leading by example, you teach your employees what your expectations for them are.

What is your yardstick for success?

My yardstick for success is to go above and beyond what are normal expectations. By going above and beyond, you can create a culture of continuous improvement and allow your company to be in a better position for success than it was before.

What are your long-term professional goals?

Once I'm finished with my MBA, I want to be on track to lead a finance team. I know it will take a lot of hard work and there will be times I will put in long hours, but I want to leave a legacy before I call it a career.
