What make's a great boss?

A great boss is someone who is able to openly and honestly communicate their expectations of their staff; someone who can guide their staff without feeling that they must control their every move; someone who is willing to listen to and consider other people's ideas and opinions; someone who is truly going to be there to help their staff when things are busy and the staff feels like they are sinking.

What is your yardstick for success?

I feel that success is measured by how well someone does their job in the eyes of the people who depend on them. It doesn't really matter what type of job you do, but if you do it by hurting others or by acting dishonetly, then you are not a success.

What are your long-term professional goals?

My goal has always been to be in a management position. I have spent many years at the patient bedside, but what I have always wanted is to learn how to take all the pieces and put them together so that they work in the best way that they were meant to work while meeting all the goals that are set out for us.
