What five words best describe you?

Competitive, Confident, Leader, Driven, Honest

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

My family (Wife plus 2 young kids). Sports, specifically golf and basketball, and anything fitness related. Cycling around the greenways routed through Percy Priest Lake.

What make's a great boss?

A great teacher and communicator, who leads by example. Educates and pushes when appropriate, while allowing the freedom for the employee to reach the desired outcome in their own way. Builds confidence and compassion utilizing each person's strengths, while pinpointing areas of weakness to make the employee stronger overall in the long term.

What is your yardstick for success?

Achievement matters greatly, but what matters most is how I got there and who I got there with. I believe in stern ethics and integrity, while practicing high moral standards in my personal and business arenas. Doing things the "right way" matters. I believe that in order to be successful, outcomes need to be better with me than without. In utilizing this philosophy, I can grow businesses by satisfying customers and proving these mechanics by obtaining higher profits and efficiencies.

What are your long-term professional goals?

Trying to avoid complacency. As a goal-oriented person, the ability to climb the ladder, take on more responsibility, and tackle additional challenges is a priority. The ultimate goal is to lead a strong organization from the very top. Along the way, the desire would be to manage different business units (ie Sales, Mktg) to gain the experience needed to attain my end goal.
