What five words best describe you?

I'd describe myself as friendly, happy, confident, passionate, peaceful. My wife and children might want to add playful and busy to that list.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I am a man who never is bored. I keep active and busy with my family, teaching my children what I know creatively or technically as we work on our antique home, gardens, or their school projects. I volunteer at our church operating a video camera and photographing events adding promotional and historic value, as well as teaching children. I play and coach soccer and live a physically active life.

What make's a great boss?

A great boss cares about people and understands process, and brings the two together. Good leadership serves from a place of confident strength and trust, without abdicating responsibility. A good boss encourages growth and allows for change, but knows the needs of the company and is able to communicate them to achieve the greatest loyalty and support of the team.

What is your yardstick for success?

People are my measurement for success. Are people changed, impacted, influenced, or moved in the right direction? I am not out to please everyone, but I try to see myself through their eyes to know if I loved and honored and served them well. I like to put myself where I can get feedback and gain better understanding of myself constantly, but believe that I must forgive, and I can be forgiven and ultimately will stand before God and require His mercy.

What are your long-term professional goals?

Professionally I want to come alongside leaders - professionals with vision working to help people, through engage people directly to meet their needs. I always want to be in a place where I can teach and mentor and help others grow and develop professionally. Creativity will always be a big part of how I work with people, working to find creative ideas implementing creative process exploring and developing new ways of thinking and seeing life solutions.
